Rocking a little bit of Jewish and a little bit of secular

We were very fortunate to have Michele officiate our wedding. We live out of town, and only had one opportunity to meet her in person before the wedding weekend. In that brief meeting she got to know us and our story, and we were reassured by her caring spirit as she crafted a personal, heartwarming and entertaining ceremony. She was happy to accommodate our desire to include some Jewish wedding traditions despite having a secular ceremony,. Michele was knowledgeable about the customs we wanted included and she explained the significance of each to our guests in an accessible way. She helped us select and tailor our vows, and encouraged us to finish the written ceremony well ahead of the wedding date. She also advised us to include a reading from a friend in the ceremony, to calm our nerves and shift our guests’ attention off of us for a few minutes. Not only does she write a beautiful ceremony, but on wedding day she happily kept things on track and played a welcoming host of the ceremony for our guests. We heard repeatedly from our guests how much they enjoyed the ceremony, and so did we! We would highly recommend Michele for a personal and fun ceremony.
